Game of Thrones Season 6: Episode 6 teaser trailer tears and binds "Blood of my Blood"

The new teaser trailer for Game of Thrones Episode 6 forges and tears family lines as "Blood of my Blood" is bound by different rules in Season 6.

A new Game of Thrones trailer sheds light on Episode 6 after synopses teasing High Sparrow's fall and the Hound's return were released last week. And Sunday's episode, "Blood of my Blood," seems to pick up in medias res after Bran opened "The Door" on the Stark family legacy in Episode 5. Now Bran and Meera are seen clambouring through the woods, the Stark son still locked in a vision with only Meera to guide them from the White Walkers through the wild forests of the north. The trailer then takes us back to King's Landing, not seen since Episode 4, as the Lannisters' showdown with the Faith Militant continues and Cersei contemplates tearing the High Sparrow apart as "he's torn our family apart," to use Jamie Lannister's words. It's clear the High Sparrow's preparing another episode for Margaery like the walk of atonement Cersei sustained last season. Only we know from Episode 4 that both the Lannisters and the Tyrells agree this mustn't be allowed to happen. What's more likely is that they'll beat the High Sparrow at his own game, forcing his hand in a moment of rapacious religiousity to weaken his military influence in King's Landing. "We should treat them without mercy, and we will," Cersei intones. "Show them what we do to our enemies." As these family bonds are being sown, far different ties are reforged across the sea as well, as Sam conducts Gilly, his wildling companion, to his ancestral hearth at Horn Hill, where we catch a glimpse of his imposing father Randyll Tarly for the first time. Just over the horizon in Essos, Daenerys and Daario are also seen contemplating Daenerys' return to her ancestral home, with the Dragon queen proclaiming, "I take what is mine." Are you ready for Episode 6?
